2.1 Account Information

• Email address (for account creation and authentication)
• Your name (a display name you set, shown to other members in your Fire groups)
• Password (encrypted and securely stored)

2.2 Content You Create

• Bible study notes and highlights
• Devotional highlights and saved content
• Battle verses and themes
• Reading plan progress
• Journey progress and completion status
• Arsenal insights and applications

2.3 Fire Group Information

• Fire group memberships
• Shared insights, comments, and reactions within your Fire groups
• Fire group names and descriptions

2.4 Usage Data

• Study streaks and activity timestamps
• App feature usage (which tabs and features you use)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• Crash reports and error logs (to improve app stability)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Fireside Fellowship app functionality
• Sync your data across devices
• Enable Fire group collaboration and sharing
• Track your reading progress, reading plans, and journey progress
• Display your study streaks and statistics
• Send important service notifications (not marketing)
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Provide customer support when requested

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Within Fire Groups

Visible to Fire members: content you share to a Fire (shares, comments, and reactions), the display name shown on your shares and comments, and Fire group names, descriptions, and member lists.

Private and not visible to other members: your personal notes, private saved content, battle verses, and study notes remain private to you — even when a related verse or theme has been shared. Only content you explicitly share to a Fire is visible to other members; your personal notes are never exposed.

4.2 Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate our app:

• Supabase - Database and authentication (hosted in secure data centers, SOC 2 compliant)
• Expo/EAS - App distribution and updates

These providers have access only to information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to maintain confidentiality.

4.3 We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Database access is restricted and monitored
• Regular security updates and patches are applied

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Access - View all personal data we have about you
• Correct - Update inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete - Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export - Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Children's Privacy

Fireside Fellowship is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. International Users

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country. By using Fireside Fellowship, you consent to this transfer.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of any sale of personal information (which we do not engage in).
